#2 palomino aluminum quad in pvc conduit

Im wondering if you can run, or should run, #2 quad overhead wire in pvc conduit, and what size the conduit would have to be. I understand that ser can be run in conduit but not buried, but overhead quad is much cheaper where i live. Its also waaayyyy cheaper than urd/dyke.

You won't get an NEC answer because it's not an NEC conductor type.

As a 'cable' meant for free-air use, how would you rate it for conduit?

Your best bet may be to try to get some data from the manufacturer.

You seem to be describing overhead drop cable. This is not designed for installation in a raceway. Further it is not an NEC type of conductor/cable
