NEC Section 404.8 (C) Multipole Snap Switches A multipole, general-use snap switch shall not be permitted to be fed from more than a single circuit unless it is listed and marked as a two circuit or three-circuit switch.
Are there any listed two circuit switches that could be used as a AC disconnect for 240 volts 1 phase?

Tom all dp switch will hande a single circuit 240 volt circuit. It is only if you have two 2 wire circuits used on the switch- not sure why that is an issue tho.

It may relate to the "only one circuit may land on a single yoke unless all ungrounded conductors are simultaneously disconnected" meaning it may be OK if double pole or handle ties are used on the breakers feeding switch.

A single 240 volt load is on a single circuit.

If you had two 120 volt loads on two circuits then you would have troubles in this area. But if they were on a multiwire branch circuit - that is only considered one circuit. With that set up you may have issues if each item is required to have an individual disconnect though, where you are using only one switch to disconnect both items.
