2" rmc

Does a 2" rmc have less resistance than a #10 cu wire. ( same length )
 
Don't know about resistance, but at fault current RMC has a lot less impedance, better performance at fault current because of the lower impedance.
 
I would sure hope so. Based on the fact that you are allowed to use metal raceways as an EGC, you can put maybe up to about 250 amp circuit in a 2" raceway, but if supplying a motor maybe even could have even higher overcurrent protection level, and the raceway is still allowed to be the EGC. But a copper EGC would need to be at least 4 AWG copper if the overcurrent protection is higher than 200 amps.
