2-speed chillers

2-Speed chillers, they have 6-conductors from the mcc to the motor is it true that the conductors can be sized at 75% of the full load? I herd this from someone in the office, is it true? If so where does it state this?

The conductors need to be sized per the information on the motor nameplate. See 430.22(B). Maybe they were thinking of the wye start delta run where each of the 6 motor conductors are sized at 58% of the motor full load current. 430.22(C).
