2 wires 1 lug

I just received a new 400 amp 600v disconect. It cam with single lugs for each phase. On the cover it says 1/0-750 kcmil, cu,al and below it says 2 1/0-250 kcmil, Cu al . I take this as I can put two 3/0 under neath this one lug? Is this normal practice?
 
If it's listed for two condcutors you can install two. Here's an example:

Sometimes.

There are lugs that are built to handle two conductors in a single hole/under one screw, the conductor hole is usually oval shaped.

Looks like a go to me. Don't forget the calibrated torque wrench.
