20 amp breaker with 6 60 watt lights

I have a kitchen and the cotractor installed 6 of the recessed can lights with 40 to 60 watt bulbs.
The lights have a 20 amp breaker with 12/2 romex cable did they over load the curcuit? thanks Brian

6*60= 360 Watts. 360W/120V=3 Amps.

I think you'll be okay

6 x 60 watts = 360 watts

120 volts x 20 amps = 2400 watts

I think you may be all set.

I think you have it backwards. 6 times 60 is only 360 watts or 3 amps.

Good thing you only do LV work!

You can put 32 recessed cans up and still be OK.

Im thinking the EC was extra nice if he didnt just add this to another circuit,i sure would have.
