20 amp Outlets Multi Wire Branch Circuit

Where in the code book does it state that 20 amp duplex receptacle outlets should not be used on a 20 amp multi wire branch circuit?

e.g. 20 amp breaker with #12 wire and (7) 20 amp duplex receptacles.

Does the code state that the duplex receptacles in this arrangement must be 15 amps?
If so, where?

Take a look at Table 210.21(B)(3). It allows either 20 amp or 15 amp receptacles, on a 20 amp circuit.
