Re: 200 Amp & Under License

I guess no one can reccommend any free learning material? OK, so what learning material, not free, can help me prepare for the test? Thx

Hello Jason. I don't have any idea what the test you are speaking of addresses, but the exam prep portion of the Mike Holt site I have found to be very challenging. There may be a lot of non-residential questions on the free exams, but you will get a feel of where you stand.

Jason,
Check with your community college. I took 2 years of NEC code classes for chump change. The classes were all self paced and you could attend as often as you wanted.

Mike holts journeyman exam prep is the best deal around. the text is about $50, has 1800 questions, work 200 a week, allow 10 hours a week, and you'll do just fine. You need to get into the test taking mode...just like bending conduit, it takes practice.
