raider1 Senior Member Staff member Location Logan, Utah Oct 22, 2008 #2 Welcome to the forum. First off there is no 2000 NEC. I looked in the 1999 NEC in section 680-51(b) and the maximum operating voltage between conductors for submersible pumps is 300 volts. Hope this helps, Chris
