2003 IBC section 907 help I don't have a copy!!

In the 2003 IBC, were smoke detectors required in a type M occupancy electrical room?

Also, I cannot find this: A true fire door, such as a "wondor" brand, one that closes off a fire partition opening, how is it required to be tied to the fire alarm? Ie, must they close in the event of a fire alarm, if they do not have door release service smokes tied to it?

907.2.7 Group M. [F]

A manual fire alarm system shall be installed in Group M occupancies, other than covered mall buildings complying with Section 402, having an occupant load of 500 or more persons or more than 100 persons above or below the lowest level of exit discharge.

Exceptions:1. Covered mall buildings complying with Section 402.2. Manual fire alarm boxes are not required if the building is equipped throughout with an automatic sprinkler system and the alarm notification appliances will activate upon sprinkler water flow.
