That depends on where you live.

For me the 2005 NEC became the code on Jan 1 2005, for others it may be years before the 2005 is adopted.

Some are still on 96.Many are small towns that perhaps produce mobile homes and for reasons i cant say they wont adopt newer codes.Reasons are usually printed in GREEN.

Looks like it's about a year out of date. It show the Summer of 2005 as the future. Also shows Virginia as on 1999. We moved to the 21st Century in the Fall and are now under 2002.

That sounds right on NJ. I was told it would be in the middle of the month.

NJ will be adopting the '05 code next month. That's April 2006 for those of you that keep track. (BTW, still no AFCI requirements!)
