Does anyone know of a quick way to get the 2005 code changes. I am ordering the book, but need to start looking at the changes right now for a meeting. No one locally has the book of changes (barns & noble, b.dalton, etc.).

Re: 2005 Electrical Code Changes

Most of the changes are indicated by the use of a vertical line in the margin next to the section that was changed in the code book. The vertical line, in the 2005 code book, will cover a complete paragraph even if only one word was changed. Also, not all of the changes are so marked.

NFPA now has the full NEC text online and free. Although, it's not the most convient way to look throught the NEC, if there is some specific article you are looking for it might work until you can get your book in the mail.

This is my biggest complaint about the 2005 NEC Handbook. It lacks the lines along the margins.

I would go with Mike's book on the 2005 changes. I have his 2002 version and will get the 2005 at a code update class next month. I'm assuming that the 2005 will be as great as the 2002.

My favorite change was the placement of the article number at the top of each page.

I agree, such a simple and great idea that is a big help when looking for a section.
