Listed equipment where each circuit has an energy level at or below the limits established in Cpater9, Table 11(A)...isn't required to be listed as Class 2...
I'm told this is intended to apply to PLCs.
O.K....
So I have a PLC with multiple output cards, each of which can supply 300miliamps to 64 separate output loads, but not more than 3.25 Amps total for the total output card. The PLC ouput cards get their output power from a power supply that I connect to them. So does this mean that I can use a single 12 amp @ 24VDC power supply to supply 3 output cards in the PLC? Or do I need to use separate 100VA 24VDC (non class 2 listed but still Class 2 for practical purposes) power supplies one for each output card?
