Hi, I'm 16, and don't have a lot of money. But I would like to be able to refer to the NEC when people mention article numbers online and such. I found a copy of the 2005 NEC draft on NFPA's web site. http://www.nfpa.org/PDF/70NECDraft03.pdf Would this be acceptable for me to use as just a reference, or are there significant changes from this to the published version?

Or, if someone gets a copy of the 2005 NEC in PDF, perhaps a copy could find its way into (removed e-mail address) mailbox? ;)

Thanks,
Jonathon Reinhart

Sorry, if someone want to contact you, they can use the Private Messages. We do not want e-mail addresses used in posts.

Re: 2005 NEC Draft

For your purposes, the 2005 NEC draft may do well. The NEC is a copyrited document and is for sale on the NFPA website. I don't think anyone will give you a copy.

Are you planning on going into the electrical field?

Re: 2005 NEC Draft

Yes, I'm planning on attending college for electrical engineering or something like that. In electrical engineering, I'm not sure exactly I want to do...
