2005 NEC exam Vs. 2002 NEC exam

Hello everyone,
I am planning to take the WA Masters exam in August and as long as I pass, I will be taking the Oregon Supervisors (Masters) exam in Sept. WA is based on 2002 and Oregon is based on 2005. Can someone tell me if the codes are much different in respects to taking these exams? Will I need to spend many hours studying for Oregon because it is based on the 2005 code?

My experience is that exam providers will only correct or adjust already existing questions to conform to the newer code. It's believed by many that an exam provider will specifically add questions including a code change to intentially trick you if you are using an older edition, but I don't think thats true.

Just be aware of the significant changes and no additonal studying should be necessary. Just watch for the major issues like entire article re-organization (220), article number changes (527 to 590) and entirely new articles (353).
