2008 CD Handbook

Any word on the expected ship dates for the back orderd CD hand books yet from ECN site yet.

I don't know about the CD Handbook but I can say that I have filed a "Card Dispute" with my bank about a purchase I made back in October of 2007 for the 2008 Handbook. I have not been able to talk with anyone or get answers from e-mails sent to ECN.

We will see what happens.

I did as well. They replied back with that it exceeded the time frames allowed by the dispute resolutions regulations and that it did not qualify as a billing error.I'd be happy just hearing of a ship date.They have my soft bound copy held up as well because they want to ship all as a package.

I thought your problem was straightened out, but I guess not. If you filed a dispute that should get your money back though.

I received the e-mail form Kim on March 31, 2008 and it read: "This has been on backorder but now available and should ship in a week or less." As of today, Sunday April 20, 2008, no book and I have sent two more E-mails to Kim asking for an update and NO REPLY.

I do appreciate all of your time and efforts you have given. Since you no longer are working with ECN I can't in good conscience burden you with this anymore. It is NOT your problem but I really do appreciate the help you had given.

My bank rep. told me that 60 days was the limit for dispute but I'm using the e-mail I received stating that there was a backorder so the time frame should be extended. We'll see what happens.:-?

I feel a little clarity is needed here. The store was operated by another organization, not ECN. (A look at your receipt will confirm that) The fact that this distinction is not clear is the reason I am eager to help if I can.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I, too ordered mine from NFPA and received it March 15.

I received a letter yesterday from my bank and the Credit to my account has been issued.

I feel I can now order my HB from another source. I hope to place an order today.
