I am contemplating buying an '08 NECH on CD/DVD [how ever it comes] to replace my '02....even though NJ is on the '05 :-? :D

I'm wondering, is the '08 edition similar in layout to the '02?

Here are some shots of my '02:

Does the '08 [or even the '05] look like the '02 as far as layout?

The difference between my '08 NEC and the '02 NECH are pretty obvious...it's like driving a bus with only 3 tires:

Search Page - NOTICE ~ it's just a typical Adobe search, not the advanced the '02 NECH has:

..
Is the '08 NECH more like this [my '08 NEC] or that [my '02 NECH] ?

This why I say: Having just the NEC is like driving a bus w/o all four wheels.

That is so cool. I personally love books. Except when I cant find something in the NEC. But anyways I like the feel in my hands. I like to read on line as well but I find my eyes get more tired!

Are there any reasons why having the book on a CD for the computer an advantage rather than having just the book?

Is it an easy process of copy and pasting a page to put on this website for others to learn?

What are some advantages?

What are some advantages?

For starters...it's way cool!
:D

I like a book too, but for speed and searching ~ you can't beat the computer edition. I have hard copies of the NEC [every code cycle going back to '93] and every other code cycle from '02 back to '96 [not very many].

Sometimes when you have to go "nose to nose" with someone, both parties looking at the same document helps ~ copy and pasting is the trick. Print only what you actually need to win the debate

Copying and pasting is child's play...every adult should know how!

Thats cool, I just didn't know if the program had any locks on it that prevented you from coping or pasting. I know some of the programs make it where you can not duplicate it or print it and things of that nature.

Well good night, I have some ditch digging in the morning:smile:

The trick to any lock is to be a better locksmith
