I'll be there, I'm leaving on Tuesday to spend a few extra days in California before the conference starts. My boss as well as three other engineers from northwest Ohio will be there as well. How many other refinery/chemical folk do we have on the forum? I remember one person from New Jersey I think. I'm assuming Bob Alexander will be there? It looks like it's in his backyard.

Any plans for a Mike Holt meeting at the conference?

I'll be at the Chemical Subcommittee most of the time.

Due to economy related travel restrictions I am forced to miss this years PCIC

Sorry that you - and many otehrs - will miss it.

Perhaps all those who have to miss it should contact IEEE that if the convention is held at locations where the accomodations are more reasonable a larger attendance can be gained. After all these Conferences are supposed to be representing the users and IEEE members.
