The minimum size for AL conductors is #12. See 310.5. however I am not sure anyone makes it, the smallest you might be able to practically get is #6.

You would need to provide the calculated load but for the 200 amps the minimum size required would be #4/0.

OP said the panel is 200A. There's no requirement to provide that panel with a 200 amp feeder. So the minimum size is number 12, Post number 4.

Come on, you know that is not what the question is asking even though it cannot be truly answered without a load calc. I suspect they are looking for 250kcm as the minimum size for 200 amps. Bad question

Although the question lacks a few details I agree that it's very likely that he's asking for the conductor size for a 200 amp feeder. 250 kcmil AL would give the full 200 amps, #4/0 will give you 180 amps next size up rule 200 amps.
