200A Breaker for Challenger Panel

Hello.

I have a 200A Challenger Panel SMB20. It is a Type C breaker panel.

I am looking at a 200A breaker to fit this panel. Challenger is gone and I have tried to find a BR type (Equivalent from UL Letter) but I cannot find any.

I talked to an electrician and he recommended me to use a Siemens/Murray MPP-2200. They indeed seem physically equivalent but because I cannot find any official letter of equivalence, I am worried that the Inspector is not going to accept it.

Any one who could guide me on this ?

I am (at least temporarily) closing this thread, in accordance with forum rules. We are not allowed to assist persons who are not electricians, if they intend to perform their own electrical installation work. Please send me a PM, if I have misjudged the situation. In the meantime, perhaps you can hire the electrician that you mentioned in your post, and let that person do the installation.
