200A service

I have a 200A Panel 240V 1Phase and a Grinder pump feed with a 2pole 30A breaker coming off the meter. 4/0 SEU to the 200A panel and #4 SEU going to the 30A breaker for grinder Pump.
What size service cable on line side of meter to the service head? Typicaly I would install 4/0 for 200A service, does the grinder pump breaker change that?

Is there a 200 amp main CB?
Excellent question.

If there is not a 200 A main, can bring up several other questions, if there is such a main, he only needs 176 amp conductor minimum presuming actual load doesn't exceed ampacity of the conductor.

Thanks for the answers, Yes there is a 200A main breaker
Then it must have conductor that is allowed to be protected at 200 amps.

The thing that is surprising to some is when you (are allowed to) have multiple service disconnecting means, a common supply side conductor is only required to be sized per the load calculation, but any conductor directly supplying any of the main OCPD's must be same ampacity or above next size lower standard size device - but still above connected load, so 4/0 aluminum with an ampacity of 180 can be protected at 200 as long as it isn't connected to more than 180 amps of load.
