Pursuant to the NEC Requirement for an AFCI used on each string of a PV (solar Panel) installation.
Does anyone know if there has been movement from the industry toward the development
of the appropriate breaker for this serice? NEC put the requirement in place without the equipment
to support the installation. We have many customers interested in a retrofit.
I have been checking with Square D / Schneider but no response to date. Anyone out there
have any additional or updated information
