Anyone know if this free option will be included with the NECH when it comes out?

I would doubt it if you ordered directly from the NFPA. I ordered the NEC and NECH combo a while back and NEC came UPS the other day without the coupon.

Its available here but its $85.00.

Yeah, well you got mad computer skills. Is there a way to up-load this into my head without all that reading?

What a rip off, that is more than I paid for the book and PDF.

I wish, one minor up grade every 3 years and we would all be set.

That's why I asked. I might have to bite the bullet and buy the NEC with the free PDF just to avoid paying $85 for the PDF alone.

I have just purchased my 2008 version for school. Should I even bother to get the 2011? Are there many important changes?

If you state is using the 2008 then I wouldn't buy the 2011 yet. Of course there are always many changes and clarification every code cycle. Sometime they make things more confusing too. :)

So if you buy an '11, do you know in advance whether it comes with the .pdf, or is it a crapshoot?

And if you don't get it, how do you get a copy?
