I'm bidding a panel change for multiple units. Remove and install, same location.
I know what my cost is per unit.
A company I'm bidding against required contracts and start up payment in Dec so permits could be pulled in 2016 because "2017 code changes"
I was asked by the condo association about the changes.....
I'm unaware of any that would affect this job.
Anyone know what could be coming up?

Unless the 2017 code changes they refer to are in the 2014 NEC they are not likely to be adopted in most jurisdictions in 2017.
Maybe other building codes or local amendments?

That paper was written in 2015. The section on AFCI changes is incorrect. The whole house AFCI thing was not adopted for the 2017.

Thanks for the correction. :)

As Jumper noted that document that I supplied the link for is useless.

Found a list by MH at ECM published last month.

http://ecmweb.com/nec/2017-national-electrical-code-changes

Might have to register for a free membership to access.
Just a note, you can log onto www.ecmweb.com, find the issue it was published in and read or download the portion you need (You may have to copy and paste the portion into a Word document). I would also like to point out this change in the article is for new work or additions to or extensions of circuits and may not apply to your situation.
