2020 gfci protection

How do we all feel about the 2020 changes to gfci protection, I usually do most of these new requirements out of common sense but I'm not sure how I feel about having hard wired hvac equipment on a gfci circuit I see alot of call backs steaming from this

If you get that into the code, the manufacturers would owe you more than just a hoodie.

I agree put in combo breakers and be done with it
