Change:

215.4(A)(1) Continuous and Noncontinuous Loads.
Where a feeder supplies continuous loads or any combination of continuous and noncontinuous loads, the The minimum feeder conductor size shall have an ampacity in accordance with 110.14(C)(1) not less than the noncontinuous load plus 125 percent of the continuous load.

Exception No. 1: If the assembly, including the feeder OCPDs, is listed for continuous operation at 100 percent of its rating, the ampacity of the feeder conductors shall be permitted to be not less than the sum of the continuous load plus the noncontinuous load.

. . .

Substantiation:

3 small changes, each to increase clarity

1) The deleted phrase "Where a feeder supplies continuous loads or any combination of continuous and noncontinuous loads" always applies, as any load is either continuous or non-continuous. So inclusion of this phrase serves no purpose, and deleting does not change meaning.

2) The reference to 110.14(C)(1) emphasizes that the ampacity discussed in subsection (1) is the equipment termination ampacity without regard to adjustment and correction factors. 210.19(A)(1) has a corresponding reference.

3) Any OCPD is listed for operation at 100% of its rating, just non-continuously. So exception (1) should apply when the OCPD is listed for continuous operation at 100% of its rating.
