208 single phase oulet circuits

I was working on a job finishing up work that was left by others. But what I ran into was 3-208 volt single phase outlets with neutrals ran in two different conduits. Problem was that who ever pulled the wire installed installed 3 circuits in one conduit and 3 in a different conduit. Which left one of the circuits in one condiut and one in the other to go to one of the outlets. This wire was pulled from the panel this way which was about 80' feet away. I've always thought this was not allowed.
 
300.3 requires all conductors associated with the circuit to be in the same raceway
