Hello. I have a question that even though It kind of obvious, I need some confirmation in case that the company I work for complains on overspending. We doing lots of rough for Lennar and are very underpaid so we have to save money. (previously we had a 3rd party doing this so I wasn’t checking, but they all got fired for always doing material pullsheet with the wrong).
Anyways so I have this 1266 ft sq home. I calculate min lighting circuit [(1266x3)/120]/15 = 2.11
Do I have to use then 3 15A circuits to satisfy the all that load, or it can be rounded down somehow and use only 2HRs / Breakers?
Also article references if possible.

You need 3 circuits, but remember that the code permits the general use receptacles to be on those 3 circuits.
You could use two 20 amp circuits, but the cost for 12AWG may negate any savings.
