(C) all 15& 20 amp branch curcuits. that would include a bathroom

210.17 (A) bathrooms not listed

210.17 rooms and Suites with permanant provisions for cooking

why doesn't 210.17 send me to 210 part III ?

If I go from 210.17 to 210.12 (A) it takes away the requirement for arc fault protection found in 210.12 (C)

210.12(C) excludes Air B&B's, or Zimmer Fry, while 210.17 excludes any guest room/suites without permanent cooking appliances.

edit just talking about the bathroom branch circuit
210.12(C) includes bathrooms in hotels and motels and patient sleeping rooms in nursing homes and limited-care facilities.

210.17 never includes bathrooms.

I guess I'm wondering why these same bathrooms in 210.12 (C) and 210.17 change the requirement for arc fault protection when permanent provisions for cooking are added to this same type of occupancy
