Hi Everybody. Thanks for all the info I have read on the other threads so far. I have a question that may be very easy to answer.

This is the power requirement we need: 210V or 220V 6KW Single Phase.

Here are the available choices for available power supply:

120/208 20A Single Phase
120/208 30A Single Phase
120/208 60A Single Phase
120/208 20A Three Phase
120/208 30A Three Phase
120/208 60A Three Phase
277/488 30A Single Phase
277/488 30A Single Phase

Thanks for your help,
Johnny

Your question is not completely clear. What is it that needs power, and where will it be? Your profile talks about vehicle design, so I wonder if you are talking about a vehicle that needs power. Or is this a building item?

Also, you are not quite using the voltage rating terms properly. For example, if you show 120/208, then that term implies a three phase item.

If you can get by with 210 volts, and if your load is 6000 watts, then 6000 divided by 210 is 28.6 amps. So it seems to me that if you had a 208 volt, 30 amp supply, that could do the trick. But here again if this is in a building, and if that load will be running for more than 3 hours at a time (i.e., what would be defined as a "continuous load"), then you may need to add 25% to the 6000 watts, in order to meet NEC requirements. That would bring you to 35.7 amps. So a 40 amp breaker serving as a single phase, 208 volt source might be what you need.

Welcome to the forum.
