Nor do you in general purpose circuits. Only areas I can think of are kitchens, bath, & laundry where 20A is required.

210.52 is the heading for all of the subsections A thru I -- 125v 15a and/or 20a receptacle outlets -- your choice of amperage @ 125v unless specified
