I've been using color phased mc cable(blk-red-blu)and(brwn-org-yel).Are manufactures doing the same with romex as well.I've been in buildings where multiple voltages are being used,and this hasn't been enforced.

They could be using tagging, as color coding is not required. Also the colors you are using are not required, it could be any combination of colors other than white, gray, or green.

Then again maybe they are not following code... that would be a surprise

Have you been posting signs at all of the panels?
 
Pierre, nothing more than listing the voltages on the panel circuit legend pertaining to that panel.

Pierre, The way i understood it was , if the incoming service was 480 volt, and equipment and lighting was of that, then the color coding of the wires should be brn-org-yel, if there are SDS @ 208 in the same building.The 208 system would then be identified as blk-red-blu.I was'nt aware that other means was neccesary if color coding was applied.

Other means are not required if someone installs the color coding as you did. You would need to post a sign telling how you identified the conductors.

What I meant is the color coding you used is not an NEC requirement. Actually you could use tags instead of color coding.
 
Under the 2005 code there is no requirement to identify the conductors by phase, only by system. All of the 120/208 volt ungrounded conductors could be one color and all of the 480/277 a second color.

Could be but that would take all the fun out of trying to match phases/colors.So if this was a romex job, do they make it in other colors than blk-red ?
