If you have four or more appliances fastened in place you can apply a 75% demand factor. Is the neutral calculated at this 75%? Other question is if you have three 120v appliances and one 240v appliance you would calculate the line demand at 75% but what about the neutral load, does it get calculated at 100%? first post hope its easy enough to understand thanks in advance.

Yeah, if you apply the demand factor to the phase leg(s) then it would also apply to the associated neutral conductor.

If you had four household 120v trash compactors fixed in place that drew, let's say, 5 amps each (for a total of 20 amps) you could derate them 75%, down to 15 amps. The neutral could be considered to require only this 15 amps as well. If you had mixed appliance loads, for example three 240V appliances and one 120V appliance then you can still consider whatever neutral load you had with this stuff to follow the 75% demand factor, as long as you have 4 or more of the appliances total.
