Am I correct that, using Table 220.55, the Standard method, the demand for (30) 15 kw ranges would be 47kw ??

I get 51.75 kW:

For (30) 12 kW ranges, column C gives 45 kW. Then Note 1 says that we increase that 5% for per kW in excess of 12 kW. We have 3 kW extra per range, so we increase that by 15%. 45 kW * 1.15 = 51.75 kW.

Cheers, Wayne

That makes sense (I had only increased the 15kw x 1.15 and knew something was wrong)
Great Table.

I am sure you are talking about dwelling unit single phase ranges. Are they being installed on a single phase system or are they being installed on a three phase system?

Normally a question like this is assumed to be single phase residential. If the wanted 3 phase the question would normally state 3 phase
