Hi,
when using NEC 220.84 should consider 8000W for electric stoves just for calculation only but what if I have electric stoves in dwelling itself?
Thanks.

My understanding of 220.84 is your required to use the stove actual nameplate data 220.84(C)(3)b.

thanks tortuga.
you mean beside 8kw electric stove that I have for calculation only, I have to add the exact name plate of stove to the data as well, right?

No, he's saying that you should use the nameplate data instead if you have it.
Thanks Larry. I understand that part but NEC 220.84 asking to have 8kw range for calculation only (and I believe that's why NEC let me use demand factor. nameplate is 7.6kw for that electric range I am using, so I should have both 7.6kw for real load and 8kw for calculation only at the same time.

Right, I am looking at 220.84:
(C) Calculated Loads. The calculated load to which the
demand factors of Table 220.84 apply shall include the following:
(3) The nameplate rating of the following:
  • a. All appliances that are fastened in place, permanently
  • connected, or located to be on a specific circuit
  • b. Ranges, wall-mounted ovens, counter-mounted cooking
  • units
  • c. Clothes dryers that are not connected to the laundry
  • branch circuit specified in item (2)
  • d. Water heaters
