225 amp feeder / 480/277 volt

What is the smallest size I can pull.
Only have a 2" existing conduit. It is a mall store.
I need to hit a 225 panelboard, x 480

#4/0 THHN copper is rated for 230 amps.

You may have a 225 amp bus in the panelboard but what is the load?

You could pull 60 amps of conductor to this and put 60 amp OCPD on it if you have no more then 60 amps of load and be compliant with NEC.

If you need the full 225 amps, I dont think 4 4/0 would be too bad. Maybe reduce the neutral a few sizes. I pulled 4X250 compact AL in 2" EMT with 2 90 and a 45 once and IIRC it was code compliant but a total bear, dont do it.
