22KW Generac NG generator with 200A SE rated ATS comes with a 2P100A breaker in generator. Rather than tie ATS in from meter and worry about load shedding to meet load restraint of genset, any reason not to just feed the ATS from main service panel via a 2P100A breaker and then install a 100A panel with just the loads the genset will feed? And of course in this setup the SE rated ATS will not have the N-G bond. Good to go right?

I don't see any reason why not. Just make sure it is SUSE rated and not rated "only" for use as service equipment. "only" rated means the MBJ is not removable. I guessing this is a little residential grade ATS and likely has a removable MBJ.
