Just hoping to get a code confimation before plunging into installation about the wiring for some lights that will be controlled by GE rr9 relays. In years past I used to install lots of those for my old boss. He had us use twisted bell wire #18 for the secondary wiring. I never use that stuff anymore for anything so I am wondering if some solid 18 ga CL2 or CL3 cable run in pvc conduits (house made with block walls) is ok. Also is section 725 the chapter of the code that would apply here? Plan to use a typical 24 volt xfmr like the doorbell type, only 24 for power source.
