240.24 A states Over-current devices shall be readily accessible. A 42 circuit panel with the main disconnect at 7' 2" would OK as per 225.40?
240.24I believe max. height is 6'7", although I don't have code section readily available.
Not necessarily. Is it outside and meet the scope of 225.1?240.24 A states Over-current devices shall be readily accessible. A 42 circuit panel with the main disconnect at 7' 2" would OK as per 225.40?
404.8(A) would apply to the disconnect that is required in Article 225.Not necessarily. Is it outside and meet the scope of 225.1?
The intent of that section is for occupancies where the tenant does not have physical access to the feeder OCPD. It would be a stretch to apply it to a panel, but maybe under the right conditions, you could make it fly. What about 225.40?
