I need 24VAC for a control valve and the HVAC unit (208v/1ph) does does not have a 24 VAC output. Is it possible to use a 208V to 24VAC transformer and share the same circuit as the HVAC unit or is a dedicated circuit required? If so, what is the correct way to wire it?

I meant to say it is 208v/3ph is the power source to . Can I tap into the downstream side of HVAC disconnect and use the 10 ft tap rule to provide power to the transformer? If I did that the disconnect would serve for both the HVAC and the new 208V transformer. I would just need to ensure the conductor size to the transformer can handle 10% or more of the OCPD serving the HVAC equipment.
