24vdc with 110 in same cable on separate conductors

Can you run 24vdc circuits in the same cable as 110. We are using cable rated for 600 volts like an IMSA rated 9 conductor awg 14. I have been told by our local inspector that it's ok if the cable is rated for the AC.

You need to check the classification of the 24 volt circuit. A class 2 or class 3 circuit can not be in the same cable as 120 volt power circuits. Look at 725.55.

I agree with Trevor....unless those class 2 or 3 circuits are reclassified as class 1 and treated as class 1 conductors from that point forward.
