200 amp service. Feed through panel to 150a subpanel. Would 250.121 exception allow me to run gec from water meter to sub panel?
Meant 150 amp main panel. Sorry about that. What would not allow it? It says if the egc meets the requirements of the egc and gec it could be used as both. 250.64 (d)(2)(2) makes me think you can. I'm by no means arguing, just discussing.No. And how are you feeding a 150 amp panel from a 200 amp feed though?
Or is that specifically talking about 2 service disconnecting meansNo. And how are you feeding a 150 amp panel from a 200 amp feed though?
I think I get it, if there was a disconnect, not a feed through panel, I would be able to connect the gec to the equipment ground at the subpanel.No. And how are you feeding a 150 amp panel from a 200 amp feed though?
250.24(a)(1) is the reason it would not be allowedNo. And how are you feeding a 150 amp panel from a 200 amp feed though?
The irreversible connection would be the difficult part.Imo, if the equipment grounding conductor is the correct size and you have an irreversible connection on the equipment grounding conductor then it would be allowed.
Nice. I wonder if they have any that are cu/AlIf you have the right tool you can do it... or a cad weld....
Imo, if the equipment grounding conductor is the correct size and you have an irreversible connection on the equipment grounding conductor then it would be allow
Would 250.8 a 2 allow you to just connect it to the ground bar in the sub panel?Imo, if the equipment grounding conductor is the correct size and you have an irreversible connection on the equipment grounding conductor then it would be allowed.
Nevermind I realized that 250.64 c doesn't allow those methodsImo, if the equipment grounding conductor is the correct size and you have an irreversible connection on the equipment grounding conductor then it would be allowed.
