250.122(F) EGC for paralleled conductors

Has the NEC always required a full size EGC be run with each set of parallel conductors in a feeder circuit?

An existing installation being modified has (3) sets of paralleled conductors, but the parallel EGC's are not full-size per 250.122 and I'm wondering if/when this may have been compliant.

The oldest code book I have is the 1978 and the same rule was in that code, but in 250-95.

Thanks don_resqcapt19. This facility was built prior to 1978, although I am not certain how far back it was built.

A full size ground in each conduit was required in the 1971 NEC as well. I could not find anything in the 1951 NEC about grounding conductors in parallel.
