Existing install.....

Rigid conduit branch circuit using conduit as EGC. Right before JB, it transitions to FMC and into a JB. From JB, my new conduit i installed with EGC in with conductors.

Im thinking I can ground pipe clamp onto existing rig conduit and ground JB....thus continue EGC to branch circuit. Also add ground bushing on rigid panel side as there is not one there now.

250.118 (5) ..i dont meet this requirement to use flex as EGC

Is this legal and what code permits it?

.....pulling EGC in existing rigid is not an option.
