250.146 B and 250.148 b of the 2020 NEC

Per 250. 146 b implies I don't have to use a jumper wire if I use the spring and screw and the outlet and that will account for my jumper wire now per 250.148b implies I need to install an equipment bonding jumper from the outlet to the Box so if I remove the receptacle I will not break continuity in my mind it's a little bit counter addictive I believe we'll be best just to install a jumper wire any ideas or suggestions I would very much appreciate it thank you

A self-grounding receptacle can be connected to the metal box by the combination of the 6-32 screws and the clip on the device. The metal box needs to be connected directly to the EGC whether or not a self-grounding receptacle is used. That EGC to box connection cannot rely on the device itself.
