I need to connect a 3/0 new grounding electrode system to an existing.

I'm thinking a Burndy type butt splice. So I need something thats

"irreversible compression-type...listed as grounding and bonding equipment"

This would also have to be of the direct buiral type.

Any ideas?

Are you sure that you need an irreversible connector? The GEC is required to be continuous to the first electrode after that you would have bonding jumpers which are not required to be connected with irreversible connectors.
