Would I be correctly interpreting 250.66(A) by saying that as long as the GEC is going directly to a ground rod(s) that the GEC does not have to be larger than a #6 Cu...regardless of the Service conductor size? For example if I have 3 parallel sets of 600mcm Al for a 1000A main breaker for a meter center, a #6 Cu GEC would be properly sized unless specified otherwise?
