250.94 bonding other systems

I would like to take a standard bond bar w/6 terminals and tap it to the bottom of an outdoor panel, use #6 cu. and leave for the other systems (phone and cable). Another electrician tells me I need a bond bar listed specifically for this purpose.
My question; is what I propose compliant are do I need to take his advice? Thanks, Tony
 
it's acceptable in this area
a few electricians use a "standard" ground bar installed on their GEC to the ground rod.
Most use a product designed specifically for the purpose.
To date I have not seen one phone company or cable install use the bar.
Here, they all ignore it and bond with their own clamp as they have for years :)
 
My only concern with that would be the regular steel screws in a wet location. A bar designed for that would likely have stainless steel set screws.
