HI,

We have a 250A panel board that we will be feeding from a switch gear. Currently there are (2) 2" conduits ran from the gear to the panel board total distance is 380'. Would the NEC allow the use of parallel 4/0 ALUM feeders & #2 grounding conductor to feed the space? Service is 3P 4W 120/208V..

What is the VD that you come up with using the parallel feeds.

First off- VD is dependent on the load. If your panel is going to have a calculated load of 225amps then you need to base your vd on that load.

One thing to mention is that VD is not required by the NEC but it needs to be considered IMO.. Secondly, look at 250.122(B)-- If you are using 4/0 because of vd then you must upsize the EGC proportionately.
