Re: 25A breakers

Most copiers are on dedicated circuit.I would run a new line to it if possable.I am sure she would not like a computer shutting down because of a breaker. And we can not protect 15 or 20 amp receptacles at 25 amps

Re: 25A breakers

hey guys what i ended up doing after reading all of your advice was adding a new circuit. I was fortunate in that I had a j-box directly over the panel ran in 3/4 conduit. I pulled another #12 hot and neutral through this conduit to said j-box then ran a piece of mc cable to another j-box which held both of her circuits that she had her computors and other numerous items split that and wala problem solved. I wish I would have thought to pull another circuit for her copier maybe Ill talk her into that one as well thanks for all of your help and I will never think about something so silly as upping a breaker again

Re: 25A breakers

You are not the first electrician to consider a larger breaker.I had a electrician friend that i worked with.On visiting him once he was real proud of himself in fixing a branch circuit on #14 that kept triping. His solution was put it on 1 side of a 2 pole 50.I dam near lost it when i seen that.We are still friends but he lost all my trust in his abilities. At least you asked first
